I used to be the kind of guy
who never knew
how to slow down
and enjoy the simpler
things in life.

It seemed there wad always
one more hour to work,
one more goal to conquer -
seeing the bigger picture
was never really an option.

But then i met you,
and a whole new world
opened up.
Suddenly the idea
of accomplishment
was no longer just about me,
because nothing
has made me prouder
than what we've
created together.

I realise now
that i cant control everything
that happens in life,
but as long as I have you,
I'll be a happy man.
